Ganesha, Vinayaka, Ekadanta, Ganapathy! Call him as you will, but the charm of this ubiquitous elephant headed chubby God is undeniable. The Modak is as malleable a sweet as Ganesha himself, lending itself to all sorts of fillings.

(Where is that elusive line between a Modak and a momo? beats me!)

Sorry, I digress. Here’s the story of Ganesha, who narrates it himself. Fair warning, this version is stuffed with a Quint-y attitude, is multi-lingual and runs between a limerick and a rap!

Of course, this is Ganesha we’re talking about, so it’s eight stanzas of divine coolth. You could share this with eight people for luck. But if you’re reading this, you’re in luck anyways!

Enjoy!
