FB Live: New Delhi World Book Fair 2018 Is a Bibliophile’s Delight
For bibliophiles, a book fair is the most loved event! And this year’s New Delhi World Book Fair is no different. From global bestsellers to books in eclectic languages, the book fair has something for everyone.
The 26th edition of the book fair is themed around 'environment and climate change,’ with a call for increased awareness and efforts towards protecting the environment.
One of the biggest attractions of the Delhi Book Fair has always been the stalls that sell books for Rs 100. And this time around as well, these stalls were packed with book lovers.
The ‘Authors’ Corner’ is another crowd puller at the festival and that too was buzzing with people and energy.
In the post-internet era, where Kindles and e-books have gained popularity, seeing so many people gather at one place to celebrate the written word is just amazing.
And even if you are not a book lover, stationary stalls and the Nakshatra festival can keep you company.
Also, if you are tried of meeting people at bars, cafes and other public places, the book fair can also be a place to meet like-minded people. Or you could just drown yourself into an ocean of literature.
If you have a couple of hours to spare, the book fair is definitely the place to go to this week.
