Saroo Brierley, the inspiration for the Oscar-nominated movie Lion, said his childhood memories were the key that helped him reunite with his family.
Saroo had gotten lost as 5-year-old child, only to reunite with his birth mother 25 years later.
It was a treasure to me when I went to sleep. I think in essence, that’s what I sort of dreamt about a lot – to reunite with my family again.
