Khaleel Al-Dhaki is a lawyer by training. He, however, runs a team of activists who are involved in making regular trips to the Iraqi city of Mosul which has been taken over by the ISIS. Their secret mission is to rescue Yazidi women, the non-Muslim minority women in northern Iraq.

“This kind of operation can't be done during daytime,” he told NBC News, adding that they are “basically going in there to kidnap them back from ISIS.” Al-Dhaki also believes that “saving a soul is the best thing a man can do. “You get more motivated when you watch them meeting their families. I can't describe the moment of the reunion. We devote our whole lives to rescuing these women.”

The ISIS has kidnapped as many as 7,000 Yazidis, he estimates. 3,000 of them have either escaped on their own or through some other means.
