My dear brothers and sisters in uniform,

I join my fellow countrymen to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your sacrifices each day, so that my family can continue living peacefully in such a wonderful democracy.

In the same breath, I would like to caution that all of you are in the hit list of the nation’s enemies who are trying to lure you through social media as each one of you are privy to matters of national security.

Social media has become a necessary evil. I request you – closely review your posts, photos or videos before posting to ensure tactical or sensitive information is not released.

Keep up the good work! And we are proud of you!

Jai Hind.

Manan Bhatt, veteran petty officer (Indian Navy)
