Voters share their post-vote selfies with The Quint’s My Report.
“I think voting is the most important part of our democracy, it shows my faith in democracy. Selecting right candidates is more important than criticising the wrong ones,” said Amit Pandey.
“At this juncture of Indian history, there are two visions of nation-building that are contending with each other, one of a facist, autocratic and totalitarian India, and another of a democratic, secular and egalitarian India. I stand with the latter. The youth will vote for a democratic India,” wrote Manik.
“A first time voter on the left, the super senior citizen on the right, and woman power in the middle – all pray for peace on voting day!” wrote Dr Rashmi.
