Novel Way of Writing: Author Shares Entire Love Story On Instagram

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well American writer/photographer Rachel Hulin seems to have lived up to that expression as she is releasing her new 200-page novel on a most unusual platform: Instagram.

With one Instagram post at a time, Hulin has paired words with her dreamy and haunting images to tell a visual story from the lives of a twin.

The book Hey Harry Hey Matilda follows the twins from New England grappling with “love, life, lies, and growing up,” says Hulin on the book’s Web site.

The story, out on a website and an Instagram feed, comprises of a series of obscure photos and email exchanges between the twins— Harry and Matilda Goodman.

The author has just started posting and will roll out the remaining photos over the course of next nine months.

We are sharing the first 10 pages below.
