#Leaving office late and don’t want to take your usual bus or train? Just tap an app and call a cab.

#Not in the mood to cook? No stress. A few clicks on your phone and your food delivery is on the way!

#Bored while travelling to work? Dish out your phone and start watching a new series that everyone’s been raving about.

Today, we use our phones for a lot more than just staying connected, all thanks to the internet. Marketing professional Sudarshana Sengupta says, “My phone is my one stop for pretty much everything. I use it to shop online, make travel bookings, look up for information – virtually every all things I can think of.” The internet has really redefined what’s possible with our phones. Whether it’s accessing entertainment, keeping up with work emails on the move or searching for information, a smartphone armed with internet has become with a powerful tool in today’s times.

Telecom companies, as well, have constantly evolved their network to keep up with this changing internet ecosystem, well because a good smartphone and a great network are like a match made in heaven. Take Airtel for instance: being the fastest 4G internet network, Airtel has really pushed the boundaries of how we use our smartphones. Whether its streaming HD videos in a crowded train or downloading a 4K movie right before you board a flight, having mobile internet as fast as Airtel 4G can make it seem quite easy.

A smart mobile network, in many ways, breaks the boundaries of where and how we use the internet. Social media influencer Vivek Tejuja, who has more than 26K followers on Twitter, says, “I like to stay connected with my followers all the time, more so when I’m traveling. So I use Airtel because I need a fast and reliable network so I can keep posting updates even on the go.”

The internet has also opened up avenues for what we can do as travelers. Today, you can easily discover places before you visit them. And even when you’re on a trip and crave a bit of adventure, if you have a strong mobile network with a stable internet connection, you’re all set. For instance, now that Airtel has launched 4G internet in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, tourism there is set to take off and travelers can go about discovering the islands in a whole new way.

The internet has become the mainstay of our lifestyle these days, and we can’t wait to see where it take us in the next 30 years.
