Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer-Piku has had a holy shit of a weekend, collecting over Rs 25 crore in just three days. A simple, fun, light-hearted, humorous film that leaves no foul smell. Rather, it teaches you a thing or two about life and your digestive system.

These are the five things that I learned from Piku.

Motion Se Hi Emotion

Believe it or not constipation is a serious problem and the emotions you feel after a good motion are irreplaceable. This poop-centric film does not make you feel sick instead reminds you of your “isabgol” days. We’ve all had days of solid motions, loose motions, mucus-filled motion and coloured motions. Let’s hope we continue to flush our system, happily.

Loo and Behold

So the poop-theory is that the western-style commodes could be a cause for constipation. Gasp! Wait for a few days for a right-wing group to raise this grave issue and ban the western-style toilets.  And why not? The potty position in the Indian-style toilets gives you the right “push” to relieve yourself. So get ready to say goodbye to your comfortable commodes.

Chew Like A Cow

When it comes to motions, cow is our role model. We must look up (well technically, down) to the cow, which has a ‘perfect’ motion. Wondering why? Well, because the cow keeps chewing and chewing and guess what, chewing her food. And to get that right motion that includes form and colour, we must chew like a cow.

Naughty Nighty

If you thought the ‘nighty’ or nightgown is outdated. Think again. Piku brings in the sexy nighty look back into business. The casual attire adds to her “oomph” quotient and creates a space where women are comfortable talking about wearing the nighty without a bra. Yes. You heard it - minus a bra.

Papa The Great

Parents always know. They just do. Piku too in the end proves it how Bhaskor Banerjee (Amitabh) knew that his daughter’s friend Syed, suffers from constipation. So trust them so that you don’t end up with shit in your pants!
