Actor-producer Dia Mirza, who is India’s Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations, attended the UN Climate Summit 2019 in the capacity of a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) advocate.
Dia said that while sustainable development goals are easier for developed countries to adopt, the developing and under-developed countries might find it difficult to do so for various reasons.
Given the climate crisis and the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events many goals remain unachievable because every time they take three steps forward they get pushed back because of loss to property, loss to agriculture, loss of land, loss of infrastructure etc.Dia Mirza, Actor, Producer,
