Remember when you went on those educational trips from school to learn about things and how they are made? Well, the fun it seems isn’t over even when you’re an adult. That’s when Pushpendra Gautam decided to take one himself, armed with his trusty camera. What emerged from his trip to the Siemens factory in Kalwa outside Mumbai is truly a take worth sharing.What’s so special about this particular factory you ask? Well, for one it’s celebrating a legacy that’s half a century old. But what made the journey interesting for Gautam is that he got to juxtapose what the factory looked like 50 years ago and what it looks like now.

Technology isn’t the only thing that’s been at the forefront of innovation for Siemens. From the looks of it they seem to have maintained a cool ecosphere too.

While progress means that machines now do a human’s work, let’s face it there are some things that need the human touch even today like they did 50 years ago.
