Two days after the Supreme Court declared instant Triple Talaq ‘unconstitutional’, another verdict of the apex court come in for praise.

A nine-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice JS Khehar unanimously ruled that right to privacy is protected intrinsically as part of rights guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.

Social media was cheering the verdict, with some users calling it the “biggest judgment of this century so far by the Supreme Court.”
