Teachers and students of the Lady Sri Ram college (LSR) have come out in support of Delhi University student Gurmehar Kaur, slamming those who have threatened her with rape.
Faculty members at LSR’s English Department congratulated Kaur for fulfilling her duty as a young Indian citizen in a Facebook post.
They also slammed former cricketer Virendra Sehwag and actor Randeep Hooda for “shameful trivialisation of the intimidation that Gurmehar faces”.
