Fire broke out at a fireworks factory in Tiruchy, Tamil Nadu at around 7: 30 am in the morning. Ten people are feared to be dead according to reports by news agency ANI.
The blaze spread fast, engulfing the entire factory area and left many people severely injured, according to a Times of India report.
Fire officials say 16 workers believed to be inside and none of them have been rescued so far, reported ANI.
However, exact cause of the fire is still unknown.
The building of the factory which has been running for 15 years now has reportedly collapsed.
