Handwara Operation at Army Camp Ends, 3 Terrorists Killed

This is the third such attack on an Army camp in recent days.

Body of Neutralised Terrorist Recovered From Naugam Sector

Reports reveal that the body of a dead terrorist has been recovered during an ongoing search operation in Naugam sector.

Earlier, the Army had foiled two infiltration bids in the Naugam sector in the intervening night of 5-6 October.

Handwara Encounter Ends

Army officials have informed that the encounter in Handwara has ended after it successfully neutralised all terrorists that attacked the Army camp in the morning.

It further revealed that a huge cache of arms, ammunition and medical paraphernalia were also recovered from the three terrorists killed in Handwara.

Three terrorists had started indiscriminate firing at our camp. Our sentries were on high alert and retaliated instantly, gunning them down in the process.
