Spielberg (Austria), Aug 11 (IANS) Spain's Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) on Saturday won the pole position for the Austrian motorcycle Grand Prix, for the second year in a row.
Marquez was the first to set the pace with a time of one minute and 23.241 seconds, to earn the 49th pole position of his MotoGP career, reports Efe.
Italy's Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) came in the second spot, 0.002s off the pace, followed by his teammate, Spain's Jorge Lorenzo, who was 0.135s slower than Marquez.
Italy's Danilo Petrucci (Alma Pramac Racing), Cal Crutchlow of United Kingdom (LCR Honda CASTROL) and France's Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) will start Sunday's race from the second row, as they booked the next three spots on the timesheet respectively.
