Deadpool 2 lead actor Ryan Reynolds is the producer of the film. His first venture as the cheekiest Marvel superhero of all time, Deadpool, gave Fox its biggest hit of 2016, after opening on Valentine’s Day to a strong $782.6 million worldwide, surpassing The Matrix Reloaded to become the highest-grossing R-rated film in history.
