It’s true! The cast of Love Actually is actually coming together for a mini-sequel and we have the pictures to prove it. Emma Freud, wife of director Richard Curtis has taken it upon herself to share moments from the revival.
Liam Neeson and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Daniel and Sam) have started filming the Love Actually sequel.
Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Rowan Atkinson, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant and Keira Knightley are all coming together for the sequel for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, which has been co-founded by Curtis.
I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to ‘Love Actually,’ but I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to. Who has aged best? I guess that’s the big question… or is it so obviously Liam. We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part -– and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later.
And Alan Rickman will surely be missed!
Red Nose Day is a fundraising event organised by Comic relief to end child poverty in UK and Africa. This 10-minute film will air on 24 March.
