The extremely versatile actor Farhan Akhtar is known for the many roles he has played in the film industry. He is also known for his directorial work in Dil Chahta Hai and Lakshya.

In his latest Instagram posts, Farhan Akhtar can be seen hard at work while preparing for his new role as a boxer in the upcoming movie Toofan. Boxing is an extremely fun and effective way of working out and staying in shape. It is a perfect way to get your weekly dose of cardio and also helps in improving hand-eye coordination. Boxing is an extremely high intensity workout which helps in burning fat and calories.


According to an article by NDTV Food, he doesn't believe fitness is only about your physique, but it is rather very important for regulating your mood and relieving stress. Boxing is exactly that. Any form of intense physical exercise releases endorphins which in turn boosts your mood, it also helps in improving sleep patterns.
