Ahead of the release of The Sky is Pink, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar made an appearance on the popular talk show The Kapil Sharma Show. And Priyanka ended up spilling some beans about her much-talked about wedding with American pop singer Nick Jonas.

While speaking to Kapil Sharma, Priyanka also shared the story behind her nickname ‘Mitthu’.

According to a report by Indian Express, Priyanka revealed that the jaimala ceremony during her wedding surprised Nick and his family. When Nick’s family saw Priyanka’s brother picking her up, they thought it was some kind of a fight. In response, Nick’s family also picked up Nick and pushed each other in.

‘Rock On!’ actor Farhan Akhtar also shared several interesting anecdotes on the show. He recalled an interesting story from his childhood when he ended up pouring a bucket of water on himself while sitting on his parent’s bed.

While speaking to Kapil Sharma, Priyanka also shared the story behind her nickname ‘Mitthu’. And it’s an interesting one. Priyanka said that the name was given to her by her aunt as Priyanka had a habit of mimicking everyone around her.

Rock On! actor Farhan Akhtar also shared several interesting anecdotes on the show. He recalled an interesting story from his childhood when he ended up pouring a bucket of water on himself while sitting on his parent’s bed. Apparently, it was to get back at his elder sister Zoya Akhtar, director of Gully Boy, as she would always make him jealous by saying that she had a bath in her “parent’s room”.

Priyanka’s upcoming film The Sky is Pink is directed by Shonali Bose and stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim, and Rohit Saraf. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and then went on to have its Asia premiere in London. It will release in India on 11 October.
