Kapil Sharma, Indian TV’s king of comedy, will soon be back on the small screen with his new show Family Time with Kapil Sharma. In a FB Live, Kapil revealed the name of his upcoming show and said he was delighted to be back.
The comedian doesn’t want to stick to the regular format for his big comeback, and so he has decided to experiment with a new concept this time with hosting and conducting games and activities for families. The show will be aired on Sony TV.

Kapil will be joined by Kiku Sharda and and Chandan Prabhakar, who were his colleagues in The Kapil Sharma Show.
Kapil made the wrong kind of headlines last year with his very public spat with Sunil Grover. The fallout took an ugly turn which resulted in Grover and others walking out of the show. TRPs of the show consequently fell and Kapil reportedly was unwell for long bouts of time, which lead to cancellation of shoots. Now however, he seems to be ready for a second innings.
