Hina Khan brought in her 32nd birthday on 2 October with family and friends. The actor shared a few photos from the celebrations on Instagram. She was showered with love from friends and fans and posed surrounded by bouquets, cards and even a cake decorated with a doll in the dress that she wore at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
In the pictures from the party, she is seen dressed in a sequinned black dress and wearing a sash and tiara. The actor partied with her boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal as well as her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes. Hina also reunited with Priyank Sharma, her housemate from Bigg Boss 11.
Hina Khan recently stepped down from her role as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has been replaced by Aamna Sharif. She has also signed on her first international project, a film based on HG Wells’ short story The Country of the Blind. The film is set in the 1800s and is about the inhabitants of a secluded valley who, though visually impaired, live without interacting with the outside world. Hina will play the protagonist, a blind woman who is part of this community.
The film has been directed by Rahat Kazmi and the cast includes Shoib Nikash Shah and Airlift actor Inaamul Haq as the antagonist. It has been produced by Rahat Kazmi Films and Tariq Khan Productions, Co-Production of Hiro’s Faar Better Films & Turn Key Films (USA) and will release in both English and Hindi.
