Anil Kapoor recently made an appearance on reality television show Dance Plus 4 alongside Jeetendra for the filming of a special episode dedicated to honouring the memory of the late Sridevi.
According to reports, Anil payed an emotional tribute to the actor with whom he has shared screen space with in several films such as Mr India and Lamhe. He was quoted as saying, “As an artist I feel blessed to have worked with Srideviji and she had an huge contribution to my career. She was an actor with immeasurable talent who could fill the screen with her magic. We shouldn’t remember her with sadness and rather celebrate her brilliance as a performer with love, affection and joy.”
The actor also went on to describe how he would touch Sridevi’s feet every time they met as a mark of the immense respect he had for her. He also described how he liked to stay on set even when he wasn’t involved in the scenes that she was filming as he greatly admired the way she practised her craft.
Sridevi was married to Anil Kapoor’s brother Boney Kapoor.
