5. Malawian High Court Allows Madonna to Adopt Twins From the Country
According to Malawian government officials, singer Madonna has been allowed to adopt four-year-old twin girls – Esther and Stella. Madonna has previously denied visiting the country for adoption purposes, even though she has adopted from Malawi before, in ’06 and ’09. However, the Malawian public has accused the government of providing the Like A Virgin singer with preferential treatment.
