Be it Aditya Kashyap in ‘Jab We Met, Haider Meer in ‘Haider or Maharawal Ratan Singh in ‘Padmaavatby churning out one solid performance after another, Shahid Kapoor has proved his mettle in the film industry and has emerged as one of the most talented actors of the current generation. After riding high on the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’, the actor will next be seen in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

Born to actors Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, Shahid sure had those acting genes running in his blood. But, not many know that he started out his career as a background dancer in films like Dil To Pagal Hai and Taal. Shahid’s dancing prowess is no secret and we have seen him shaking a leg to some of the most popular Bollywood dance numbers like Nagada Nagada... from ‘Jab we Met’ and Gulaabo... from ‘Shaandaar.
