Sun Pictures, the makers of Rajinikanth’s next project have announced the title as Petta and released a motion poster for the film. The poster features Rajini entering a church and deflecting an attack with a candlestick holder. Take a look.
The film is Rajinikanth’s first collaboration with director Karthik Subbaraj. The cast includes Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Bobby Simhaa, Sananth Reddy and Megha Akash.

Most interestingly, Petta features Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s first foray into Tamil cinema. Check out his first look as Singaar Singh:
Trisha Krishnan would be seen playing Saro opposite Rajinikanth.
The music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
