The trailer of Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, the third instalment of the franchise, has been released. The film stars Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol and Dharmendra, and also features Kriti Kharbanda and Gippy Grewal in pivotal roles. Notably, superstar Salman Khan also does a cameo in the film, and can be seen in the trailer.

The trailer promises what can best be described as old wine in a not so new bottle either. The jokes are based on age-old tropes that are done to death, and the characters on equally archaic stereotypes.
In Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, the Deol trio, playing three Punjabi men, is taken to Gujarat, where they have to pretend to be Gujaratis. Produced by Pen India Limited, the film is directed by Navaniat Singh.
It is slated to release on 31 August.
