Sumona Chakravarti, popularly known as Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife Manju Sharma on the show Comedy Nights With Kapil, has denied the buzz going around that she’ll be soon tying the knot. The actress reacted to the news that she would be getting married to good friend Samrat Mukherjee, who is also Kajol and Rani Mukerji’s cousin, while speaking on a radio station in Dubai.
Sumona cleared the air by saying that Samrat is just a dear friend and that she has no intentions of getting married anytime soon. She tweeted a link to her radio interview on Wednesday:
We aren’t really surprised because we know that right now Sumona is gearing up for a comeback on Kapil Sharma’s new show which is scheduled to begin soon on Sony TV.
