Here’s an exclusive chat with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu at the unveiling of his wax statue by Madame Tussauds in Hyderabad recently:
Q: What does this wax statue stand for, for you? Is there a cause behind it?
Mahesh Babu: It’s I think a kind of a sense of achievement, I would say. So, I’m really honoured.
Q: You’ve been named in the list of the world’s most handsome actors, how do you react?
Mahesh Babu: I feel happy, obviously. I’d be lying if I said no. But yeah, it feels good.
Q: When do we see you making your Bollywood debut?
Mahesh Babu: I don’t think it’ll happen. Because South films are huge now.So, when you make an amazing South film and you tell an amazing story, it can be a pan India film. SS Rajamouli has shown us that. So, I think my passion is here. Always South films. So, I’ll try to do better films here itself.
