Bambai - or as it is officially known, Mumbai - continues to inspire stories and storytellers. And the teaser of Netflix India’s maiden original series Sacred Games takes right off from there.
As the camera roves over Maximum City to take in breathtaking vistas and claustrophobic alleys (some fantastic camera work and editing here), the voices of Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui pay homage to Bambai. While Saif’s voice wonders about what’s there to love about Mumbai, Nawaz counters it as a city where dreams can fly - only however, on certain conditions.
