Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey in New ‘Sacred Games’ Promo

On Monday, the makers of Sacred Games and Netflix surprised us with a new promo released on its official social media accounts.
According to the promo, it seems like Gully Boy actor Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey will be a part of the second season of Sacred Games.

The video is captioned “Season 2 is coming. Put your chattris in the air.”

Interwoven with Scared Games title track playing in the background, the video features series regulars Saif Ali Khan who plays the police inspector Sartaj and Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays Ganesh Gaitonde.

The promo ends with Pankaj Tripathi dressed up like a guru and sitting in a meditative pose with his legs crossed. According to reports, Pankaj’s character will play a pivotal role in unfolding a chain of events that shape the highly anticipated season, which was shot in India and overseas.

The highly anticipated season two of Sacred Games which is expected to release in 2019 and fans are really looking forward to it. The first season of the show was directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. It is based on Vikram Chandra’s novel of the same name.

The second season of the show will pick up from exactly where it left off at the end of season 1 - Sartaj on his mission to save the city and Gaitonde’s struggle to maintain his reputation as the legendary kingpin of Mumbai.
