Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi seems to have broken the curse of demonetisation on the Bollywood box-office. The film’s collections have been growing over the weekend and it has now earned about Rs 32.50 crore in the domestic market. Here’s what the Alia Bhatt-Shah Rukh Khan-starrer’s 3 day figures are:
- Friday: Rs 8.75 crore
- Saturday: Rs 11.25 crore
- Sunday: Rs 12.50 crore
Total: Rs 32. 50 crore
According to reports, the worldwide collections of the film are about Rs 27.45 crore and it’s having an excellent run overseas, especially in the USA and UAE.
These are excellent figures considering that the film saw a limited release in 1200 screens in India and about 800 screens abroad.
