John Wick might be unstoppable on the big screen, but he definitely can’t get past the “censor board” in India. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has come down heavily on all the violence, gore and cuss words in Keanu Reeve’s new release John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. The action thriller directed by Chad Stahelski will have a tamed down version in India and will be short by 2 minutes when compared to its international release.

The list of cuts issued by the CBFC for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum includes the usual quota of mutes, blurs and cuts. While certain graphic shots of violence including the shots of “piercing knife in the eye followed by piercing knife in the forehead thrice” and “cutting of finger” have been removed from the Indian version, the CBFC has also blurred visuals liquor brand labels in the film.

Besides the mandatory anti-smoking disclaimer, the CBFC has also inserted the disclaimer that “No animals were harmed in the making of this film” at the start of the Reeves-starrer.

Check out the detailed list of changes made by the CBFC to John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum:
