Friday 8 March saw the release of Sujoy Ghosh-directed Badla starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh. The film is an official remake of the Spanish thriller Contratiempo (The Invisible Guest) and is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Now the first audience reactions to the film are here and they are all glowing. The public loved the twists and turns of the mystery. Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s performances were praised. Amitabh fans especially were overjoyed to see the megastar chewing scenery in a role with plenty of one liners and memorable dialogues. Fans of Taapsee won’t be disappointed either, with many appreciating her second film with Big B after the success of Pink.
