Salman Khan turns a year older on 27 December. Here are some rare facts about the superstar, that you may not know. Salman is known to love sushi and dislikes spicy food. In fact, on the sets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), he would taste the food before offering it to his young co-actor, Harshali Malhotra.

Whatever reputation he migt’ve garnered, but Salman refrains from smoking, drinking or eating non-vegetarian food on Barjatya sets. Now that’s really getting into the skin of the character!

And if you thought Salman is not offered “content-oriented” films, you’re wrong. The actor was offered 15 such films, which he turned down because he does not believe his fans would enjoy it.

Salman is busy shooting for Bharat. The film is an adaptation of South Korean movie Ode to My Father and is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It also stars Sunil Grover, Tabu and Disha Patani. Priyanka Chopra had initially been cast as well, but Zafar revealed that she had bowed out owing to her upcoming wedding with Nick Jonas.

As per reports, the Bollywood version of the film will be more emotional than its Korean counterpart as Salman felt it would help Indian audiences better connect with the story. The director of the Korean film Yoon Je-kyoon and co-producer Park Ji-seong have reportedly green-lit the revised script.
