Sushmita Sen’s partner Rohman Shawl shared a gushing Instagram post in honour of her 44th birthday. He posted a picture of Sushmita taking a photograph of the sunset and wrote, “Just as the rising sun brings light to the world, you my love, bring light to my life!! Truth be told, I wanted to write paragraphs about you on this special day, but hey, when I think about you I am just as awestruck and speechless as I was, when I saw you sitting there while taking this picture!!”
“My gorgeous woman, you make me want to be a better man each and every day of my life!! Ab isse zyada Khuda se aur kya mangu,usne toh puri kaainaat se mujhe nawaaza hain! Happy Birthday my jaan. #44 lets rule this number as well!! @sushmitasen47 Bring it on!!” he added.
While the two haven’t spoken to the media about their relationship, Sushmita often posts photos and videos of her travelling or working out with Rohman on Instagram. In an interview with Rajeev Masand in July, Sushmita called their meeting ‘serendipitous’. She revealed that she and Rohman got talking after she accidentally opened a message that he sent her on Instagram. “The first thing I did was read the message and it was from a compassionate warm person. So I go look at this account and I look at the person and say ‘aah the face matches the voice’. I wrote back saying ‘Thank you so much. Your message made my day. I wish you all the happiness in the world’,” Sushmita said in the interview.
She explained that she was en-route to the US when Rohman replied with “I am jumping from one room to the other. I can’t believe you responded.”
“And again this message was all heart. It was a person who was not trying to pretend. These kind of people get to me like that. Just honest and straightforward,” Sushmita added.
