Rohit Shetty To Share His Earnings With Daily Wage Workers

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has decided to help out those affected by the pandemic and lockdown by sharing his earnings with junior artists, background dancers, stuntmen, lightmen, various other technicians and daily wage workers working with him. This was announced by producer Ashoke Pandit on social media. Pandit said that Rohit Shetty is often called the "Santa Claus" of the industry because of his generosity.

Rohit Shetty recently started working on reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.

"On behalf of Federation of Western India Cine Employees and IFTDA we are really thankful to filmmaker Rohit Shetty. As usual he has always stood by us, he has always stood by technicians, workers. During the pandemic he has distributed money for the daily wage workers," Pandit can be heard saying in the video.

In April, Shetty had donated Rs 5 lakhs to FWICE to support daily wage earners.

Rohit Shetty is the director of films like Simmba, Singham, Chennai Express and more.
