Celebrities Rishi and wife Neetu Kapoor’s social life, even in the US, is always buzzing. The latest Bollywood stars to visit them are Anupam Kher, Reteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. The couple, Rishi and Neetu, took to social media to share a warm group photo.
Neetu took to Instagram to share the photo and announce the joyous countdown of their arrival back to India. The couple is currently in the US as Rishi is undergoing a medical treatment.
The caption reads, “Since our countdown has started the best way to celebrate was with ghar ka desi khana with the lovely strong n inspiring Genelia Ritesh and Hamara apna (now he is family) Anupam.”
Rishi Kapoor also tweeted the same photo with the words, “Thank you @AnupamPKher @Riteishd @geneliad for visiting us. What an inspirational saga Riteish pleas publish it. Love all of you.”
Is the ‘inspirational saga’ some kind of an inside joke? Who knows!
However, this wasn’t Anupam Kher’s first visit. In July, Neetu had shared a photo, thanking Anupam Kher for supporting the couple and being their throughout. “Always a pleasure spending time with Anupam. He has been a great support all through,” he wrote.
Actor Rishi Kapoor has been away from home, seeking treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York for over 9 months now. The actor, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, recently said that he is ready to come home.
The actor, who has not revealed the type of cancer he is battling, says it’s in remission now. Earlier in May, his friend and filmmaker Rahul Rawail had said that the actor is cancer-free.
