Infuriated by the media referring to the late actor Sridevi’s mortal remains as a “mere body”, actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to slam media houses. The 102 Not Out actor made his vexation known by calling out television news channels by asking if the departed actor’s individuality has been lost yet?

By changing his Twitter bio to "Sridevi. RIP." Rishi Kapoor aims to pay tribute to the iconic actor, and he even blackened his profile picture on the micro-blogging website. It worth noting that Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor worked in various films, including the iconic Chandani.

As the country woke up to the untimely demise of the Sadma actor, Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor shared his condolences and sympathies with the surviving Kapoor family on Twitter.

(The Quint, in association with BitGiving, has launched a crowdfunding campaign for an 8-month-old who was raped in Delhi on 28 January 2018. The baby girl, who we will refer to as 'Chhutki', was allegedly raped by her 28-year-old cousin when her parents were away. She has been discharged from AIIMS hospital after undergoing three surgeries, but needs more medical treatment in order to heal completely. Her parents hail from a low-income group and have stopped going to work so that they can take care of the baby. You can help cover Chhutki's medical expenses and secure her future. Every little bit counts. Click here to donate.)
