Kaushal will be playing Indian war hero Sam Manekshaw, who was one of India’s best known army generals and had earned the moniker Sam Bahadur, meaning Sam the Brave. He was also the chief of Indian army during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
Manekshaw died 11 years back, in 2008, leaving behind a rich legacy of having an illustrious career that spanned four decades and saw five wars.
Needless to say, people are excited about the chance to see Manekshaw’s fascinating life portrayed by the talented Vicky Kaushal. From the looks of it, their josh is certainly high, sir.
