The Narcotics Control Bureau has summoned Deepika Padukone's former manager Karishma Prakash on 10 November for questioning in connection to alleged drugs being recovered from her house, as per a report by ANI.

On Saturday, 7 November, a special court in Mumbai adjourned a hearing on an anticipatory bail plea filed by Prakash to 10 November. The court also extended the interim relief granted to Prakash in the case and asked her to cooperate with the investigating agency, ANI reported.

On 21 October, Prakash resigned from KWAN Talent Agency, putting an end to her associations with celebrities the agency represents, including Deepika Padukone.

On 27 October, Karishma Prakash was summoned by the NCB after the probe agency seized drugs from her house, sources told The Quint. A report by The Indian Express stated that 1.7 grams of charas and at least two bottles of CBD oil were found from Prakash's residence.

An NCB official had also told Mumbai Mirror that investigations revealed Prakash was in touch with alleged drug peddlers arrested by the NCB and thus she has been summoned.

Karishma Prakash had been questioned earlier by the probe agency that is investigating alleged use of drugs in Bollywood following the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.
