Arbaaz Khan is busy shooting with Priya Prakash Varrier for her film Sridevi Bungalow. Apart from that, he will also be seen in Mohanlal’s Malayalam film Big Brother and Dabangg 3. Now, Arbaaz opens up about his ex-wife Malaika Arora. “We were together for so long, and we have a lot of memories. The most important thing is that we have kids, so that respect is there between us. Something did not work between us, so we separated. That does not mean we will hate each other”, Arbaaz told Deccan Chronicle.
He also spoke about how his son handled the situation. “I am proud of the way Arhaan handled the situation. Children are very sensitive at this age, and they often fall prey to bad influence. But my son has great friends, and he has excelled in studies, sports and music. So I am very happy”, the actor added.
As for Salman and the family, Arbaaz said everyone respects each other’s space. “We are all there for each other whenever one needs us. But we live our lives according to our rules. That is the key to leading a happy life. For example, is Salman likes working with a particular team and I don’t, we never interfere in each other’s work”, Arbaaz told Deccan Chronicle.
Some time back, when Arbaaz was asked about Malaika and Arjun’s wedding, he attempted to laugh it off by saying, “Paaji, bohot intelligent sawaal poocha hai aapne! Bohot mehnat ki hogi. Poori raat aap baithe honge iske upar (You have asked a very intelligent question. You must have worked so hard on it and thought about it all night),” he said. “Paaji, aapke sawaal ka jawaab dena hai mujhe. But aapne itna time liya sochne ke liye, toh mujhe bhi toh thoda time do! Kal bataun toh chalega? (I want to answer your question. But you took so much time to come up with it so give me some time to come up with the answer. Should I answer it tomorrow?)” he quipped.
Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan divorced in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.
