Nandita Das Replaces Tabu in 'Virataparvam 1992'
Nandita Das will start shooting for the Venu Udugula directorial Virataparvam 1992. She has replaced Tabu in the film which is set in the backdrop of the 1990s Naxal movement, reported International Business Times. Virataparvam 1992 reportedly stars Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in lead roles and is expected to release next year.
Nandita Das had said that her role in the film is short but important. “Sai Pallavi is an amazing actor and a wonderful human being too. It was a delight working with her. I am also looking forward to working with Rana Daggubati”, Das added.
Vijay Deverakonda Announces Debut Production
Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverakonda has announced the first film to be produced under the banner of his production house. Titled Meeku Maathrame Cheptha (roughly translated to ‘I’ll Tell Only You’), the film will star director Tharun Bhascker. Vijay made the announcement on social media and tweeted, “While we were finding it painfully hard to break into the industry and make a film, I decided the day I make it, I’ll start a production house.”
