Vivek Agnihotri Announces New Film on Kashmiri Pandits

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has announced his upcoming film, The Kashmir Files, which will be based on the history of Kashmiri Hindus. "It is one of the most tragic genocides in Indian history but is absent from our history and our consciousness. All I want to achieve is to present the unreported history of Kashmiri Hindus," Agnihotri told IANS, adding: "I believe artists owe it to society which consumes their work. It's unbelievable that there are so many films on Kashmir but not even one on the misery, pain and loss of the (state's) Hindu minority." The Kashmir Files. is scheduled to hit screens in August 2020. Other details about the film are still under wraps.

Big B, SRK and Bollywood Celebs to Pay Tribute to Pulwama Martyrs With Song

Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Tiger Shroff, Kartik Aaryan and Ranbir Kapoor have come together to pay tribute to the CRPF Jawans who died in the terror attack at Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, in February. These stars have shot for a patriotic song, ‘Tu Desh Mera’, which is dedicated to the Pulwama martyrs.

A day before Independence day, CRPF India unveiled the song's poster and tweeted: "Official poster of the tribute song for CRPF Martyrs of Pulwama. 'Tu Desh Mera'. Bollywood comes together to pay homage to the Pulwama Martyrs of CRPF."

Ayushmann, Vicky Receive Congratulatory Note from Amitabh

After their big win at the National Awards, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal have been receiving compliments from the industry. They were in for a sweet surprise when they received flowers and handwritten notes from none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Both of them shared photographs of the appreciation notes.

The note to Ayushmann read, “Ayushmann! On your national award, greetings and wishes for many more to follow.” And the one to Vicky read, “Vicky! A Most deserving award. Love and greetings and many more to follow in time. Keep up the good work.”

Amitabh Bachchan Thanks Wife Jaya for Watching KBC Regularly

At the trailer launch of the 11th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that Jaya Bachchan is a loyal viewer of the show. “Everybody in my family watches 'KBC', but Jaya watches the show regularly. No matter what work she has, she will sit in front of the TV when the show starts. I would like to thank her publicly for that,” said Big B.

He also said that his family loves playing KBC at home. He said Shweta and Aishwarya also love the show and would want to participate, but owing to rules of the show, they can’t. He said, “Even Aaradhya has started watching the show now. She asks me questions about it and also tries to answer the questions when we all sit together and play the quiz at home.”
