Katrina Kaif has refuted online speculation that she and ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor shot separately for a new mobile phone ad in which they are seen together.
Katrina and Ranbir famously were a couple for 6 years and parted on good terms in 2016. However rumours continued to swirl of bad vibes between the two and especially between Katrina and Alia Bhatt whom Ranbir is currently dating.
While Alia and Katrina have often dispelled the reports by sharing their appreciation for each other, Ranbir and Kat got a chance to do the same when they shared screenspace in a new ad for a mobile phone.
The Jagga Jasoos co-stars are seen showing off the phone’s camera features in the advertisement which also features rapper Badshah.
However, certain online sleuths have been going over the ad with a magnifying glass and they think Katrina and Ranbir shot their parts of the ads separately, and were digitally stitched together.
While the green screen heavy nature of the promo makes it appear so, there is at least one moment in the ad where Ranbir places his arm on Katrina’s shoulder.
Now Katrina herself has responded to the conspiracy theory. “Not true, we shot it together completely,” she told a leading newspaper.
That should put the rumours to rest! Unless... well you see the ad and judge for yourself.
