Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s Mumbai reception was a star-studded affair with Bollywood celebrities and sports personalities blessing the newly weds at Mumbai’s JW Marriot Hotel on Monday, 24 December.
While Kapil donned a classic black silk bandhgala jacket with resham thread embroidery, Ginni's lehenga reportedly featured a blend of motifs- birds of paradise and lotus blossoms.
Among the many celebrities present were couple-of-the-moment Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Saina Nehwal and many others.

Kapil Sharma tied the knot with college sweetheart Ginni Chatrath on 12 December in a traditional Punjabi ceremony followed by a Sikh ceremony on 13 December. The wedding took place in Chatrath’s hometown of Jalandhar and a reception was held in Kapil’s hometown in Amritsar on 14 December.
Designer duo Rimple and Harpreet Narula, known for their artistic contribution to the costumes for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, has not only crafted wedding outfits for Kapil Sharma and wife Ginni Chatrath but are also behind their attire for the Mumbai reception.
