Hrithik Roshan had taken a break from his film commitments after father Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with cancer recently and had to undergo surgery. Now that the the surgery was successful and Rakesh is better, Hrithik has returned to shoot his upcoming actioner co-starring Tiger Shroff.

The much anticipated project is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by YRF. The two lead stars have already completed a schedule in Europe before Hrithik took his break. Tiger has talked at length about Hrithik being a major inspiration for him and how working with the Kaabil star is a dream come true. Vaani Kapoor also stars in the as-yet untitled film which is eyeing release by the end of the year.

Hrithik will next be seen on the big screen in Vikash Bahl’s Super 30. He has stepped into the shoes of Anand Kumar who taught 30 meritorious and talented candidates each year from economically backward sections for the entrance examination for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Super 30 is set for release on 26 July 2019.
