Hina spent eight years playing the tyical sanskari bahu in the Ekta Kapoor show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, so this new avatar is exciting for her fans. Of course, she was also popular on Bigg Boss 11 where she was the frontrunner to win but lost to Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress Shilpa Shinde.
Word in the industry is that Hina is looking to shed her good girl image for the role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Ekta Kapoor’s reboot of the hit show is much awaited and whoever gets the iconic role of Komolika would have a lot to prove. As of now, Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan have been cast as the lead characters of Prerna and Anurag.
