It seems that Twinkle Khanna has a ‘unique’ taste when it comes to gifts and Akshay knows exactly what would impress her. The latest pair of gifts that the actor got for Twinkle was ‘onion earrings.’ She took to Instagram to flaunt the piece of jewellery and wrote a long note as to how this was the ‘best present.’ “My partner returns from performing at the Kapil Sharma show and says, ‘They were showing this to Kareena, I don’t think she was too impressed, but I knew you would enjoy them so I got them for you.’ Sometimes it’s the smallest things, the silliest things that can touch your heart. #onionearrings #bestpresentaward,” Twinkle wrote.
Twinkle never shies away from showering praises or criticising Akshay. Some time back, she again took to social media to show how Akshay is a royal failure when it comes to making coffee. Mrs Funnybones even posted a photo of the beverage that Akshay brewed for her. “Writers need caffeine almost as much as pencils require graphite:) But..this is the reason why I have never asked him to make a cup of coffee for me again! #throwback #writerswoes,” she wrote.
Akshay has had a dream run at the box office. Be it Kesari, Mission Mangal or Housefull 4, all his films this year managed to rake in huge numbers at the box office. He is currently gearing up for Good Newwz, also starring Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
