Akshay Kumar has brought some of the Housefull 4 madness to the sets of his other upcoming film Good Newwz. Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani joined Akshay in recreating his moves from the song ‘Shaitan Ka Saala’.
The video of ‘Shaitan Ka Saala’ shows Akshay as the demented, bald king Bala, dancing alongside a group of women as he hails himself the Devil’s relative. Shortly after the song released Akshay challenged fans to recreate his steps from the video in the #BalaChallenge. Ayushmann Khurrana, whose upcoming film on premature balding is also titled Bala, posted a video of himself and his team performing to the song. Ranveer Singh also sportingly took a shot at the challenge during a wrap up party for Kabir Khan’s 83.
Good Newzz reunites Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar on screen 10 years after Kambakkht Ishq. The family comedy is about two married couples who are trying to have a baby. The film was supposed to release on 6 September but will now hit theatres on 27 December.
Akshay’s Housefull 4 will have a Diwali release. The film spans two timelines - the present day and 600 years ago to 1419. The film has been directed by Farhad Samji, who came on board after the original director Sajid Khan stepped down after multiple allegations of sexual misconduct were levelled against him in October last year. The film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon and Kriti Kharbanda.
